Part purpose:
Water valve allows flow of water into dishwasher when activated with 110 volts
Part location on dishwasher:
Located beneath tub. Water supply line connects directly to this valve.
Part failure symptoms:
Water fails to flow when 110 volts is present across solenoid terminals.
Part diagnosis:
Water valve is bad if 110 volts is measured across the two terminals during the fill cycle and water is not flowing into tub. Water valve is bad if there is no continuity between the solenoid terminals with power turned off and wires disconnected. Bring your dishwaser in for free testing & confirmation that it is good/bad or call the U-FIX-IT store for free assistance with diagnosis.
