Part purpose:

To cut off power to the heating element if its getting too hot.

Part Location on Dryer:

The Hi-Limit Cutoff is mounted on to the side of the heating element, which is under the drum.

Part Failure Symptoms:

The dryer will spin but wont get hot.

Part Diagnosis:

Test for continuity using a multi meter OR Bring your parts in for free confirmation that it is good/bad or call the U-FIX-IT store for free assistance with diagnosis.

Part Description:

Small circular fuse located on the back left side of the heating element housing.
