Part Purpose:
Shut off motor when machine is overheating.
Part Location on Dryer:
Located on the blower fan housing.
Part Failure Symptoms:
A bad thermal fuse will prevent the dryer drum from spinning.
Part Diagnosis:
The thermal fuse can be tested for continuity using an electronic multimeter. You can always bring your parts in for free confirmation that it is good/bad or call the U-FIX-IT store for free assistance with diagnosis.
