  • Purpose: This magnetic door plunger, also known as a magnet holder, is designed for LG and Kenmore front-load washing machines. It holds the door slightly ajar when the washer is not in use, allowing the door and tub seal to dry, thereby preventing mold and mildew buildup.
  • Location: Attached to the inner door panel of the washer.
  • Failure Symptoms:
    • Washer door does not stay open slightly when not in use
    • Increased mold or mildew inside the washer
