Part No. ER W11096267 Washer Inlet Valve for Whirlpool Bravo XL
Part purpose:
The Inlet valve controls the flow of water into the washer and the temperature of the water.
Part location on Washer:
Water inlet hoses attach directly to the water inlet valve that is located in the control backsplash on the top (rear) of the washer.
Part failure symptoms:
When the washer no longer fills, it can be a bad inlet valve.
Part diagnosis:
If 110 volts is present at the inlet valve solenoid and water is not flowing, it is bad. Each solenoid coil will have continuity if it is good. Bring your inlet valve into the nearest U-FIX-IT store for free confirmation that it is good/bad or call the U-FIX-IT store for free assistance with diagnosis.
